Cookies & browser storage

Last updated: October 12, 2026

KinStudy uses an essential cookie to keep you signed in. Local storage holds account display details, device-only study progress, notes, decks, settings and dismissed notices. Previously issued sign-in tokens move to the cookie when you return. These are functional features, not advertising cookies.

Account progress and activity

When signed in, classwork and supported practice records also save to the server. Site administrators can see the signed-in activity described in the Privacy Policy. KinStudy does not install third-party advertising or analytics trackers. Its admin study statistics use the account records already needed for the service.

The storage notice

The notice explains this essential browser storage. Choosing “Got it” dismisses it and saves that preference; it does not opt you into optional tracking.

Clearing local data

Sign out before using a shared device. Your browser’s site settings can clear KinStudy storage. Clearing it removes device-only progress and local notes or decks, and signs you out; account records already saved on the server remain. Export anything you want to keep first.

Other services

The hosting provider may use necessary cookies and connection logs. Fonts, linked websites and browser speech services have their own privacy policies.

Accounts and support requests

Study pages require an account. Sign-in uses an essential, HttpOnly cookie that expires after 30 days; signing out revokes that session. Passwords are stored as hashes. Temporary request counters help limit sign-in abuse.

Support requests include your account name and email, the page address, and the messages you send. Only your account and site admins can read the conversation. Requests stay in private server storage so you can return to them. To ask for your account or support history to be deleted, contact doddsw72@gmail.com. Do not include passwords or sensitive personal information.
